Stir Fry Udon Noodles Recipe
Ingredients
2 (14 oz. total) packets of udon noodles
1 carrot, cut into thin strips
1 onion, chopped
1/2 lb. ground beef (you can also use chicken breast)
2 tbsp. avocado oil
1 tbsp. garlic powder
Salt and pepper
Sauce
2 1/2 tbsp. dark soy sauce
2 tbsp. oyster sauce
1 tbsp. mirin
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. rice wine vinegar
Method
Sauce: Mix all the ingredients for the sauce in a small bowl and set aside.
Put the precooked udon noodles into a bowl with warm water and set aside.
Heat your pan or wok over high heat and add 1 tbsp. oil.
Add in the meat, garlic powder, salt, pepper and cook until done.
Remove the meat and transfer it to a bowl. (drain oil from the meat if you are using ground beef)
Add the rest of the oil and saute onion and carrot, cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add the cooked meat and stir fry all together.
Drain the udon noodles and add it to the pan and stir.
Add the sauce and continue stir frying for about 2 minutes or until well combined.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
